Amanda, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, will lead a discussion about detox nutrition prior to a detox yoga flow led by Monica. The nutrition portion of the workshop will cover the facts on how your body detoxes and what that means for your health. Everyone will leave with knowledge on how to optimize your environment to support your body’s own natural detox processes by looking at specific foods and nutrients as well as spiritual and mindful eating approaches. Each person will be able to identify at least one dietary strategy that they can start incorporating to support detoxification.
After the discussion, elevate your energy with a yoga detox flow led by yoga therapist Monica Valdez, C-IAYT. Activate your metabolism while being guided through a series of yoga poses designed to stimulate and detox your digestive system while improving circulation. Toxins will flush from the lymph system, help impurities be removed from your body and reboot. You will restore physically, energetically and leave with an overall sense of well being.
