WHAT IS REIKI?

Reiki is a form of energy healing. It is based on the concept of using Universal Life Force Energy. “Rei” meaning Universal and “Ki” meaning Life Force. It is available to everyone and flows through all living things.  Reiki practitioners place their hands just above the body or use gentle touch to heal and bring balance to the recepient. It is highly effective in reducing stress and promotes deep relaxation. 

Guided by Reiki Master teacher Monica Valdez, this level 1 course is based on the Enso Reiki Tradition. It uses traditional and non-traditional reiki systems including Japanese Usui among others. Enso is the Japanese symbol meaning the circle of enlightenment or circle of togetherness. Reiki training is known to deepen intuition and engage empathetic and highly sensitive people.

In the Reiki 1 Course The Student Will:

• Learn the history of Reiki

• Learn to feel Reiki energy on yourself and others

• Learn to use Reiki and its symbols to heal and balance the body at the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level.

  At the end of the training, a ceremonial attunement will be performed on each student and a certificate of completion will be presented.
