Yoga Therapy Private

In today’s world, many people have heard of yoga. Many more practice yoga and meditation as a way to strengthen their body, improve flexibility, and release stress. Yoga therapy is a customized program designed to help you find relief from your condition using yoga and all its aspects such as breath work, therapeutic postures, meditation along with lifestyle skills, emotional support  and optional dietary changes carefully tailored to meet the individual’s needs. The program begins with a consultation to assess the individual and condition. A customized and practical plan will then be designed for the client to practice on a daily basis. Follow up visits will consists of assessment of progress and changes to the program as needed as improvement is made. In many cases, the yoga therapists works as part of a team with the client’s other providers. The therapist will remain in contact with the individual in between sessions to answer questions and offer guidance during the program. The ultimate goal is to provide the individual with a set of skills to identify what is out of balance and the tools, guidance and knowledge on how to come back into balance and function at optimal capacity leading to an an overall better quality of life.

Reiki Private

Reiki is a form of energy healing. It is based on the concept of using Universal Life Force Energy. “Rei” meaning Universal and “Ki” meaning Life Force. It is available to everyone and flows through all living things.  Reiki practitioners place their hands just above the body or use gentle touch to heal and bring balance to the recepient. It is highly effective in reducing stress and promotes deep relaxation.
