You are Not Your Pain

I used to suffer from chronic shoulder and neck pain and thought that I had to live with it. Then I met my Ayurvedic doctor and mentor and he told me I shouldn’t have to live with any pain. As a matter of fact, I have 3 herniated discs in my neck, osteoarthritis and disc degeneration in my neck from an injury. When I became a yoga therapist I learned about the root cause of my pain and how to therapeutically heal my shoulder and neck. Through different massage techniques including daily abyanga self massage, therapy ball massage and deep tissue massage, yoga, breath work, and mindfulness (stress management) I have absolutely no shoulder or neck pain most of the time. It only and rarely flares up under stress. The healing process is about treating yourself at the root cause and addressing all areas of your life: Physical, Emotional, Spiritual, Energetically and Mentally. I can only teach well what I have experienced. The healer is not the therapist it is the one who learns how to heal themselves 💕
